UConn's Lord of the Rings: Coach Geno Auriemma

Connecticut (UConn) quickly rose to prominence after Coach Geno Auriemma was hired in August 1985. Since then, he has led UConn to 11 NCAA Division 1 national championships, the most in women's college basketball history. He has also won eight national Naismith College Coach of the Year awards. Auriemma is known for cultivating individual players, including 13 All-American stars, and remains one of the highest-paid women's basketball coaches in the nation. Producer: Tori Waschek.
